(Calgary, Alberta) – University Technologies International (UTI), Calgary Technologies Inc. (CTI) and SAIT Polytechnic announced today a special grant pool of $250,000 for new programs and initiatives which support advancements to the technology commercialization and innovation sector. Newly designated oil and gas occupation provides opportunities for recognition
Edmonton... The Alberta government has made snubbing services the newest designated occupation in Alberta. Workers who perform maintenance on oil and gas wells now have the opportunity to have their skills formally recognized. Becoming certified is optional, but it can lead to greater job mobility, transferability and promotional opportunities. There are currently more than 400 snubbing workers in Alberta.
