New grant established for First Nations college students
Edmonton... A new grant for post-secondary students attending First Nations colleges has been undertaken as a one-year pilot project by the Government of Alberta. Two million dollars has been given to the First Nations College Access Grant by the province.

More spaces added to MacEwan's new nursing degree program
Edmonton... An additional 22 spaces have been added to MacEwan College's four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree program beginning this fall, bringing the total number of spaces in 2007-08 to 207. The Alberta government is providing $5.7 million for the program's start-up costs and another $3 million for the additional spaces.
