Research teams with industry to improve health care diagnostics
Calgary... A $2.1-million investment in digital imaging research is helping physicians make more accurate diagnoses. Researchers have also written a related software application for the new iPhone 3G, allowing doctors to remotely receive medical images on their iPhones and to manipulate the images in three dimensions.
