Province invests nearly $425 million for Campus Alberta
Calgary... The Government of Alberta is investing close to $425 million to assist three Calgary post-secondary institutions to expand their campuses. This funding boost will increase capacity in Calgary by creating 5,400 more spaces for Alberta's post-secondary students to access a range of certificate, diploma, degree and apprenticeship programs.

Alberta graduate student scholarships almost double
Edmonton... Alberta's graduate scholarship program is almost doubling thanks to an $11-million investment by the Alberta government that will expand financial awards for graduate students. Annual funding for graduate-level scholarships is now $23 million.

Edmonton... Daniel Haines, a student with Project Adult Literacy Society for several years, is the recipient of Alberta's 2008 Council of the Federation Literacy Award.
