International missions often result in:

Signed agreements with other jurisdictions or industry partners, helping to strengthen ties and encouraging a better exchange of researchers, students and business opportunities.

Strategic partnerships, helping to commercialize Alberta technologies and attract investments and advanced through meetings with venture capitalists and executives of high-technology companies.

Increased profile within the local expatriate community, helping to attract investment and skilled professionals to Alberta and achieved through organized events.
